Spring Event Outfits: What Heels to Wear to Weddings, Races & Long Lunches
Spring might just be my favourite season for getting dressed up.Β
The weather is finally warming up, the calendar start filling with weddings, long lunches, races, parties and date nights, and after months of boots and layers it feels very good to put on a beautiful dress and a pair of heels again.Β
But if there's one thing I've learnt, it's that the best Spring event outfit isn't just the one that looks amazing when you leave the house. It's the one you're still happy wearing hours later.

So if you're wondering what heels to wear to a Spring wedding, party, long lunch or other event, here are some of my favourite outfit and heel combinations for the season.Β
1. What to wear to a Spring wedding
Spring weddings are the perfect excuse to embrace colour, beautiful fabrics and a little more glamour.Β
Think flowing midi dresses, elegant slip dresses, soft tailoring or a statement colour. Then it is all about finishing the look with a heel that feels special without competing with your outfit.
For weddings, I LOVE a metallic shoe because you'll waer it with so much more than you think.
