Hi beautiful, we want you to love your new shoes but understand that in order to find the perfect fit you may need to exchange or return the shoes. 

Before you make a decision on whether to keep your shoes or exchange them please read below some questions.

• Breaking in the shoes: Whilst some shoes may fit you like Cinderella in her glass shoes when you wear them the first time, most shoes require some time to shape to your feet.  We recommend you spend some time wearing them with thick socks at home before you wear them out and about. Some of the styles are particularly much comfier after a few wears (for example the pointed toebox ones). Our shoes are made of leather and generally speaking they will break in and feel better with multiple wears. 

• Shoes too tight: We recommend you try the shoes first thing in the morning. At night your feet are likely to be swollen. If the shoes feel painfully tight then you would need to go a size up. If the shoes feel only ever so slightly tight they are leather so they will adjust to your feet with time.

• Shoes too high: We encourage you to read the description of the shoes and measure the heel height with a ruler. You can then mark the height on the wall and push your heel up to see if it feels too high for you before you even purchase the shoes. 

• Shoes too long: If you can fit a whole finger on the back of your feet/heel then you likely need to go a size smaller. If it's only a small gap we recommend you wear a heel cushion on the back of the heel. You can buy this in any supermarket or pharmacy.

• Shoes too big. We recommend you first try a full insole and/or heel cushion to see if that solves the problem. You can buy these in any supermarket or pharmacy.  

How to process your returns or exchange

We are sorry the shoes were not a perfect fit for you. You can get a refund, store credit or an exchange on full priced items. Please note that for discounted items or on sale you can only get store credit.

1. Shoes are to be returned within 30 days from purchase. Make sure the shoes are unworn and in perfect unused condition with their original undamaged shoe packaging.
2. Send us an email to returns@luminousassembly.com.au with your order number and details of return, exchange or store credit.
3. Post your return to: Luminous Assembly. PO BOX 9125, Henley Beach South, SA 5022.
4. Make sure you label the shoes with your name and order number. And please pack the shoes with their respective dust bags and packaging materials to ensure they don't get damaged on the way back. 
5. Keep your tracking number just in case.

 **Due to COVID-19 expect some delays in deliveries overall**

Shipping in Australia

• Australian orders all over $100 - free standard shipping.
• Australian orders under $100 - $9.95 standard shipping.
• Australian orders all - $13.95 express shipping.
• Our deliveries are done through Australia Post. All major cities usual standard delivery dates are between 5-10 business days and 1-4 business days for typical express deliveries. This may vary due to COVID-19.
• We normally dispatch between 1 or 2 business days after you order has come through. 

Shipping to New Zealand

• New Zealand orders all - $25
• Standard delivery timeframe is between 6-13 days. You may expect delays due to COVID-19.
• NOTE: Please be aware that deliveries to New Zealand may incur import taxes which are paid by the customer. You are responsible for checking how much that may be before placing the order.

With the exception of the two shoes below which are narrow fitting, the rest of our shoes are standard fitting but mostly generous in size with some great reviews by women with wider feet. 

Narrow fitting shoes:

Our Lola Sandals Mid Heels and Esme Mules are ideal for narrower feet and are not suitable for wider feet. 

Wider fitting shoes:

Our Alba Mid Heel Mules and Aria High Heel Sandals have adjustable straps to make it wider according to your feet.
